Darren is a registered company auditor with in excess of 25 years experience providing audit, taxation advice, management consultancy, accounting and financial advice. He is an accredited probity advisor, and currently sits on the whole of government panel for the provision of probity advisory and audit services for procurement to Queensland Government (QGCPO 835-10). Darren is also the chair of the national UHY Haines Norton Audit Committee and has earned the position of Registered Contract auditor with the Queensland Audit Office.
Darren’s expertise lies in not for profit, medical, education, service entities, building and construction, engineering, manufacturing, retail and wholesale, commercial food, agricultural, insurance and transport industries.
Darren demonstrates a significant commitment to not for profits and is well respected within the sector. He is a Board member and audit committee member of the Leukaemia Foundation of Australia and the Leukaemia Foundation of Queensland. Darren is also head of the national UHY Haines Norton not for profit sector group and in recognition of his knowledge and experience; Darren is Chairing the Institute of Chartered Accountants’ Queensland Not-for-profit forum.
